OPPO has launched another device to its A-series lineup, the OPPO A1 5G in its home market, in China. The smartphone is now available for pre-order at a price of CNY 1,999.

OPPO A1 5G Launched in China
The newly launched OPPO A1 5G smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset and will operate on the Android 13-based ColorOS 13 custom user interface. The device will have a RAM of 12GB and an internal storage of 256 GB.
Regarding its display, the latest smartphone features an LTPS LCD display panel with a screen size of 6.72 inches and a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. It also has a refresh rate of 120Hz as well.
On its rear, the OPPO A1 5G has a dual camera setup with a primary camera of 50MP and an additional depth camera of 2MP. For selfies and video calling, the device also brings its users an 8MP front-facing camera.
Coming to its battery backup, the newly launched smartphone is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery which will also support a 67W fast charging feature.
For added security, the OPPO A1 5G also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The OPPO A1 5G will be available in three color choices – Sandstone Black, Haohai Blue, and Cabernet Orange. The Cabernet Orange color variant of the smartphone will have a leather finish on its rear panel.
The OPPO A1 5G is priced at CNY 1,999 (about $290) and the pre-orders of the smartphone have already begun in China. The device will be available for open sales starting from the 14th of April, 2023.
