Till now the only use of AirPods cases, we know is to carry users’ AirPods that’s the only role of the case but Apple seems to come up with an innovative idea for the users. US Patent & Trademark Office has today published a patent application from Apple which showcased a possible redesign of the AirPod Pro case.
This application basically revealed the creative idea of Apple, according to which the case not only carries your Airpods but also conveys information to users via haptics or display on the front side of the case. This application by Apple is said to be filed back in September 2022 which means that the company went out of the box to think of this creative idea last year only. If Apple’s this invention gets approval the company will surely be way ahead of its competitors in the industry.
Along with the application many patent figures have also been posted which show the case – display in various scenarios like using Apple Music, Apple TV+, Maps, Weather, Audiobooks, and communication with Siri about an app or service.
As per some illustrations, the AirPods case has a touch-sensitive case while some show that the case has a Graphical User Interface, one or more processors, memory, one or more modules, programs, or a set of instructions stored in memory for performing multiple functions.
Not only this in some illustrations, but user interaction with GUI through finger touch, gestures, or Apple Pencil is also shown. This device is surely going to increase customer satisfaction as it will be totally new for the users to witness the AirPods case with display, touch-sensitive surfaces, tactile output generators, device-oriented sensors, and much more.
Hence if Apple’s invention gets approval, users will find it super easy to keep a check on their notifications or use music apps, and communicate with Siri with this amazing gadget.
